I was lucky to receive a phone call in November from a nice couple in Ridgefield, WA needing to short sale their family home for job relocation. They found me on ActiveRain, and asked if I had any experience with their lender, LBPS (Lender Business Process Services) of Beaverton, OR. I hadn't worked with LBPS yet on a short sale, but gave them my references and asked that they give me the opportunity... I would certainly do my best.They made the decision to list their Ridgefield, WA short sale with me in November. We received an offer in December, and the short sale packet was submitted to LBPS (Lender Business Process Services) immediately.
After an appraisal and a few short conversations with the negotiator, we received a short sale approval letter in early January at the offer price... we closed two weeks later. NO deficiency judgment - happy buyers, and relieved sellers that can now move on and make a fresh start.I really enjoyed working with LBPS (Lender Business Process Services) and hope to do a short sale with their cooperative loss mitigation team again soon!
